Our ongoing Spanish courses

  • Beginners

Beginners learn the Spanish indicative mood (in general the present, past, imperfect, conditional and future tenses) as well as speaking skills, in order to communicate more effectively. The courses emphasize vocabulary development and basic expressions. Students learn to express themselves in the present, as well as to discuss future and past events and plans.

  • Intermediate

Intermediate-level students first review the basic tenses, then go on to learn more complex tenses and the subjunctive mood. Through more challenging readings and through conversation, they work to improve their reading skills and increase their ability to discuss ideas, current events and other matters. We also cover adverbial expressions and complete the study of Spanish grammatical rules.

  • Advanced

Advanced students learn to express themselves in Spanish in correct and nuanced ways. We use a variety of methods – from watching feature films and documentaries to doing written exercises, reviewing grammar and reading newspapers – all with the goal of becoming fluent in Spanish.
