(transition to Intermediate)
Introduction to the present subjunctive and the subjunctive mood (as used to express emotion, influence, impersonal expressions); indirect-object pronouns; the future tense and the present subjunctive; a review of adverbial expressions; the imperative mood (as used for suggestions, brochures, pamphlets and recipes); introduction to the imperfect subjunctive; conditional and imperfect subjunctive; introduction to indirect speech; present perfect and past perfect tenses; possessives.
Level 2
Continued study of the imperfect subjunctive (uses, its relation to the conditional); passive voice; review of reflexive and indirect-object pronouns and of por, para and other prepositions; impersonal expressions and gerunds; present perfect subjunctive; imperfect perfect subjunctive, future perfect; conditional perfect and its uses; relative pronouns; future, conditional and future perfect used for conjectures.
Level 3
(advanced intermediate)
Conditional (different uses); indirect speech (providing information and conversing in the third person); idiomatic expressions with different verbs; impersonal forms; aspects of the passive voice; expressing emotions and feelings (inverted vs. reflexive verbs); changes of meaning with the use of reflexive pronouns.
